Christmas is almost upon us, but before we get to the big day, we still have the weekend to get through. I know time seems to drag when you’re filled with anticipation for a big event, so to help pass some of that time, here are some links to some great content I’ve come across that you can check out.
First off, let me direct your attention to the latest issue of This Nostalgic Life. In this issue, Eric and I relate more personal tales from the Christmas seasons of our childhoods. I’m sure you all had similar experiences, so when you go check it out, consider leaving a comment telling us your story.
I recorded a story called An Appalachian Christmas Carol as a podcast a couple of years ago It’s a tale that blends real life with a little fantasy and takes place in the glory years of the 1980s. If you’ve never listened to it, I’m giving you the link below to go check it out. I’ve gotten a lot of feedback on it over the years and the general consensus is that it has brightened the season for those listeners. Maybe it will do the same for you.
With those two things out of the way, here are the rest of the links…
