Retro Ramblers Picks of the Week

Welcome to the Retro Rambler’s Picks of the Week.  It’s where I share a lot of the cool retro content I’ve come across on the web recently.  With Christmas now just six days away, almost everything in this edition is Christmas themed.  Enjoy!

First off, here are a couple of things from my site that you may have missed this week:

How I Remember Christmas
Drink Hot Dr. Pepper as a Holiday Treat

In the last link above is the article I submitted for the the 2016 Retro-Daze Christmas Article Contest.  All of the regular writers over at Retro-Daze are churning out articles taking you back in time to relive Christmases past.  Here are some of the ones posted so far.

This week’s is just a short commercial, but it’s one of my all-time favorites.  When I was a kid, I knew it was close to Christmas when I would see this commercial in the middle of some of my favorite shows.  It’s the classic Folger’s Commercial titled “Peter Comes Home for Christmas”

That’s all for this week.  I hope you’ve found something you enjoyed.  If you know of something you think we should link to next week, drop us a comment and let us know.
